Description:
ATCO Noise Management designed, supplied and supervised the
installation of the acoustical walls, roof and ventilation system
for a 110 MW cogeneration plant for Northland Power at Iroquois
Falls, Ontario. Because the noise environment at nearby residences
was specified regulatory authorities to be "very quiet" and
"rural", noise abatement to the facility needed to be high.
A level of 35dBA at 270 metres was designed into the facility
by ATCO Noise Management.
