Scope of Work:
Design, supply and erect acoustical enclosures with fully removable roofs for the exciter and coupler. Acoustical louvers, personnel doors and internal lighting were also included in the scope of work.

Technical:
The acoustical enclosure that houses the exciter measures approximately 4 m long, 4.5 m wide, and 2.5 m high. The enclosure for the coupler, between the steam turbine and the generator, measures approximately 6 m long, 3 m wide, and 2.5 m high. The enclosures' roofs were designed to be removed in one section allowing for easy access during maintenance.

Performance Target:
85 dBA at 1 m from enclosure.
