Scope of Work:
Design, supply and installation of three on-skid acoustical enclosures for auxiliary power units, complete with acoustical ventilation systems and fans. The units were assembled and pre-tested for acoustical and generating performance at the client's premises, which resulted in cost savings to the client. The units could then be easily transported to the desired location for installation and commissioning.

Original source noise levels: 100 dBA

Acoustical requirements: 42 dBA at 100 m from building

A self-framing building was used with ATCO Noise Management's Type C wall for the auxiliary power unit buildings.

Status:
Buildings designed to achieve: STC 41

Acoustical requirements were met.
