Noise Sources:
Target #1 - 47 dBA at the nearest resident approximately 750 ft. (229 m) from the center of the plant.

Target #2 - 34 dBA at a guest ranch, approximately 3,000 ft. (914 m) from the center of the plant.

Unique Project Challenges:
This was an extremely fast-track project with most construction proceeding while the engines were operating. ATCO constructed a total package including the foundations, buildings, ventilation systems and new engine exhaust systems and supports.

Silencing Solution:
ATCO chose an acoustical assembly with an STC rating of 32 for the walls and roof of the facility and acoustically treated the building ventilation systems, engine exhaust systems and cooler air inlets.
