 ATCO Noise Management offers a few types of modular, acoustical panel packages. The package contains all the silencing components and
accessories needed for a complete noise abatement solution to industrial equipment
noise. For particularly sophisticated systems, a step-by-step instructional
video showing how to install the package is available.
The
proprietary line of Noise Management™ assemblies form the walls and roof of our panelized acoustical
enclosures. Our acoustical assemblies are manufactured into panels and designed
to be self-supporting or for application onto a structural steel
frame. Acoustical ventilation systems and ducting to handle heat build-up are also
supplied as are relief and intake silencers and air filters.
Design and construction
details for reduced installation time and effective acoustical performance
are considered in our panelized acoustical enclosure. These details
may include a unique clamping system (developed by ATCO) to provide
flexibility and ease in fitting panels - reducing labor requirements
and erection time. Panel intersections, sealing of joints and the
treatment of penetrations have been carefully considered to ensure
the highest acoustical performance.
Applications
The
ATCO Noise Management panelized acoustical enclosure is designed
to reduce noise from most heavy industrial equipment, including reciprocating
and diesel engines, turbines, generators, compressors, pumps, and
coolers. The package will be custom-designed to meet your specific
noise reduction and site requirements.

and are ready for installation as soon as they arrive.
Custom-Design,
Factory Assembly
Each package is custom-designed to meet the noise level regulation
as well as wind load and seismic requirements. The package is made
to fit your foundation and all piping, mechanical and electrical
outlets.
Heavy
Duty, Industrial Grade
Noise Management™ acoustical panel packages can be designed to withstand
severe, corrosive environments. Our panels are faced with a metal
plate and can be pre-finished as required by your project. Stainless
steel enclosures are available as well.
Optimal
Acoustical Performance
To limit the possibility of noise leakage at joints and seals, the
package
design minimizes the number of panels. Performance of acoustical panels and
silencers is balanced for the noise reduction requirement.
Low
Installation Requirements
The acoustical panel packages are modular units that include all
components and detailed instructions for installation. The panel
units are designed for minimum labor and equipment requirements.
Typically, you will need three qualified people, one crane, standard
steel erection tools and no more than 5 days to erect the enclosure
for a single piece of equipment.
Accessibility
Panels from the Noise Management™ acoustical enclosure can all be
made removable to allow easy access to inside equipment and the
dismantling and moving of the enclosure. In some systems, the
proprietary clamps facilitate panel removal and re-installation.
